WELCOME TO MY BLOG (a re-posting) I remember the morning very well. The woman needed some help. When she was brought to my office, she looked sad and scared. Her clothes were soaking wet. She told me she spent the night ‘somewhere’ she couldn't remember. When I asked how she got here, she said, "I've just been walking around and around the place and something made me stop here." I handed her something to dry herself with. Then I reached out for her cold hands and prayed. She looked at me with tears-filled eyes and muttered, "Why do you care? I responded saying, "We just prayed to someone who cares, His name is Jesus and I believe He's listening to every word we are saying." The hot coffee and food warmed her up and she poured out her story to me. We all have history. And we live in a broken world that is not what God intended for us. I am a professional social worker but, first and foremost, I am a Christian. My social work and Christ
Welcome to my blog! Then God said, "Let there be light," and there was light. (Genesis 1:3)
