Produce yourself

  Welcome to my mid-winter blog-post! Dear friends, It's Saturday morning and I'm enjoying some quality time at home, preparing for our Treasures of Hope Women Group meeting tonight. Reflecting on the journey and the call of God in my life.  Pondering God's counsel; the words of knowledge prayed and spoken over my life by men and women of God in the past. I see clarity in this season, things coming to pass in my family, work and ministry. Perhaps I am more open to God than I ever was before. How I love Him more, His closeness I treasure! God is teaching me more about His love.  He is my strength, "my glory and the lifter of my head"  (Psalm 3;3), as I apply myself with faith to the tasks He has called me to fulfill. It's a new day! God is with us...

Welcome to a re-posting from my 'notes', 2010. Since then, God continues to amaze me with His wonderful love. Jimmy my 'Rapper' friend (mentioned in post) continues to visit at work and brag about his progress.  Praise be to Him, What an awesome God!  My heart always leaps with joy at the sound of good news! And I would say, 'Thank you,' knowing God is there. Many times when listening to stories being told of broken lives, a sense of hopelessness comes across and I would ask, "God are you there?"  Earlier this year I asked for prayers for a 'Rapper' friend who wanted to record his song. He has since recorded his song and is now promoting himself through invitations to participate in local events. His confidence and faith is being built up, and I thank God because, 'He is there. ' Last night my grand-children's mother returned from a brief trip overseas - and I thank God for his protection, his traveling mercie
