God, you are all sweetness and I love you!  

 I love to worship God, to talk to him but there are many times I struggle to find the right words to express how I truly feel about him.  It's a constant struggle until I go to God's Word.  It is the best source that provides for my lack in expressing my worship to God.  The following Psalm of David is one of my favourite scriptures that aptly expresses how awesome God's love is:

 Psalm 36:5-9 (TLB):
5. Your steadfast love, O, Lord, is as great as all the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
6. Your justice is as solid as God’s mountains. Your decisions are as full of wisdom as the oceans are with water. You are concerned for men and animals alike.
7. How precious is your constant love, O God! All humanity takes refuge in the shadow of your wings.
8. You feed them with blessings from your own table and let them drink from your rivers of delight.
9. For you are the Fountain of life; our light is from your light.  

  We love to hear pleasant words spoken to us or around us.  When fellowship is pleasant we enter into conversations that flow easily and smoothly as we invite and inspire one another to engage in conversations. When we are hungry and thirsty for God, we need His Word that teaches us how to worship Him and give back what he truly deserves!  Like the following scripture:

 Deuteronomy 32:3-4 (TLB):
3. I will proclaim the name of the Lord; how glorious is our God!

4. He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect.  Everything he does is just and fair. 
He is a faithful God who does no wrong;  how just and upright he is!" 
 Praise and glory to you God, "How sweet your words taste to me; they are sweeter than honey" (Psalm 119:103).  
Prayer:  Help us to read more of your Word Lord, to "taste and see that the Lord is good." O, the joys of those who take refuge in him! (Psalm 34:8)

    Love this post, dear Lome! The sweetness of God overwhelmed me this morning, and I started singing, out-loud, songs of worship to HIM, that came to me at the moment.....from my heart, to my Lord Jesus Christ's heart!     Thank you Linda, and Gary, our worship becomes a sweet fragrance sacrifice of thanksgiving and praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. We cannot manufacture this sweetness in any other relationship but only in our relationship with Our Lord, let it grow and bloom and fill us to overflowing

The suddenlies!

Welcome to my November post!   God moves in the suddenlies!   Treasures Of Hope image From little things, big things grow. When a door of opportunities closes, l ittle grace becomes enough grace. We grope in the darkness of the valley until  a glimmer of light appears. Hope! Ju st a little hope, is enough hope, so you hold on to that.    When the unexpected happens, will my mustard-seed faith move the mountain that blocks the way forward? A new year - a "fresh start"

The New Year is here! What a year it's been. And I'm really glad to be starting a New Year. Looking back, 2010 was a busy year. I started a new job at the beginning of the year. Launched my blog (Treasures In Darkness) and started writing. I volunteer weekly as co-host for a radio prayer ministry to the Samoan community and the nations. The ministry celebrated it's first birthday last year. The month of April saw the start of an outreach ministry "Treasures of Hope" to local women in the community. Then in November/December, I attended the 50th Jubilee of Youth With A Mission in Kona, Hawaii. The year closed with the passing away of my father on Christmas day. That year is behind me now. It's time to look ahead! One of the values I had learned from my late father's life was that of ' perseverance. ' He believed in hard work ("if you don't work you don't eat... you become poor").
